DZD - German Center for Diabetes Research

Organization

In 2009 the German Center for Diabetes Research was founded in the legal form of an association.

The DZD consists of five equal scientific institutions, the five partners. The bodies of the DZD e.V. are the General Assembly, the Executive Board, the Commission of Public Grant Providers and the Scientific Advisory Board.

The head office is located at Helmholtz Zentrum München.

Our research partners are the following non-university research institutes and universities. The Board is made up of one representative each from the Helmholtz center, the universities and the Leibniz institutes.
